Dear friends,

After successful launch of our first charity event in March we are pleased to invite you to our second private “Thinking & Acting” charity event “One Evening for Belarus”.

We are aiming to support the valuable work of the Belarusian Children's Hospice (BCH) (Minsk, Belarus) by collecting money for medical equipment!

Founded in 1994, BCH was the very first children’s hospice in Belarus. The Belarusian hospice cares each year for more than 200 terminally and chronically ill children as well as their parents and who are involved in the home care of a child. With the help of BCH, many families who have been facing the choice of giving up their child to a life in institutions or hospital wards are able to care for their child at home.

BCH does not receive any state funding and relies on grants and voluntary contributions. All services, medicine and medical equipment provided by BCH are free of charge. For more information please visit:

With “One Evening for Belarus” we want to raise money to help BCH to finance medical equipment for the medical treatment of children in order to improve the quality of life of ill children and to ease children and parents’ life. After contacting BCH, we received a list of equipment needed for the hospice at the moment:

  • Oxygen Concentrator (cost ~ 2600 €)
  • Medical electric pumps with battery (cost ~ 1100€)
  • Antidecubitus system (cost ~200 €) - 2 x needed
  • Blood pressure cuff for children (cost ~ 40 €) - 2 x needed

Everyone can help BCH to acquire this medical equipment by joining and supporting our event! It is a great opportunity to meet others who also want to make a difference!

How to help: Join our Charity Concert “One Evening for Belarus” on September 20, 2013 at Interkurturelle Bühne! Let us surprise you with a rich concert program. A number of talented and kindhearted performers will support our evening. The event will be held in English.
