Dear Thinking & Acting Friends,

We warmly invite you to the TAA informational event KLEIDER MACHEN LEUTE - CLOTHES MAKE PEOPLE, dedicated to the Rana Plaza collapse on 24 Apr 2013 - one of the biggest tragedy in garment industry.


  • We will commemorate the day of the Rana Plaza collapse, which we use as an impulse to look closer into the subject of clean, fair and sustainable clothes.
  • We will learn new and useful information about clothes we wear while taking a Quiz together.
  • Furthermore, we invite you to our World Café, where we will brainstorm on possible positive changes for garment industry workers, nature and ourselves.
  • Playing the “What If” game, we will use our imagination to see how we can create a better world.

  • Food & drinks are arranged by our host Interkulturelle Bühne, costs depend on your consumption
  • We will be collecting quality second-hand clean clothes for further donation to a) charity shop Oxfam in Frankfurt** or b) to homeless people (you can choose one of both options). So if you have unwanted clothes at home, you can bring them along with you.
